About  Evan  Olson

Evan Scott Olson is a rock singer and songwriter based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Born in West Point, New York, his father was an officer in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Olson has recorded eight albums including "One Room" (Universal), "Red" (LoveCat Music) and "Eternal Bliss" (independent release). Although he primarily plays guitar, he plays most of the instruments on his CDs. In college, he was in the group Majosha with Ben Folds. He then went on to become a member of the pop group Bus Stop. He has also written and recorded several television commercial jingles including songs for The Hershey Company and Mercedes Benz. His songs have been featured in numerous television shows and movies including Sex and the City, America's Funniest Videos, Young & The Restless, 90210Friday Night LightsIn AmericaScooby-Doo and MTV's The Hills.  In 2012, his song "Another Sunny Day" was featured in the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days". Evan is the main composer of music for the show Tech Toys 360, which is an original show on the Velocity cable TV channel.  Evan continues to compose, produce and record music with record turn-around times; performing all instruments & vocals himself.
